Launching adorable in 3 . . . 2 . . . 1 . . .

I really do have more to do than sit in the barn and take kitten pictures.
I just can't think of what it might be at the moment.

Prelude to a pounce.

Okay, front feet on a rock. Can I teach her fronts and glove turns now?

This is why I can never have nice leashes. If Phoenix isn't chewing them up, the cats are.

If you'd told me 3 weeks ago that Phoenix could interact relatively politely with a kitten . . .

. . . without endangering said kitten's life . . .

. . . I wouldn't have believed it. Way to make a liar out of me, Skinny Little Dog.
Today's episode of The Adorables brought to you by Siren, Grypon and Phoenix. Weezel was too busy climbing my pants leg to be photographed. And Jamie had other things to do.

  1. Wow, good thing you have photographic evidence of Phoenix interacting so well with the kittens, or I wouldn't have believed it either! Good job, all of you! :)

  4. Such beautiful pictures. Someone once told me that she was advised to add kittens to her (great dane) doggy household by picking kitten up, cooing over it, and letting the dog know that this critter was important to her. Sounds like that's exactly what you did with Phoenix! Way to go!

  5. Nothing - absolutely nothing is cuter than kittens! I've seen videos on YouTube of obedience/agility trained felines. You should try that Melinda, if any one can do it - you can! Thanks for sharing.

  6. O.M.D. Juno would be so disappointed, Phoenix. She'll overlook it just because they are family. But says: don't you get any ideas of being polite to ALL the world's kittehs... I mean, they were created for us to chase, right? sheesh.

I don't think I could do much of anything else either than photograph kittehs. And I am a dog person.
