Someday I hope to show enough wisdom to go for the Golden Middle.Denisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16293127126317475938noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4901844543243405919.post-6678457199831924072013-04-29T07:25:00.724-07:002013-04-29T07:25:00.724-07:00Although we are now many trials with no Utility Qs...Although we are now many trials with no Utility Qs (including yesterday morning's excusal for having a tag on my dog's collar --doh!), I have to say I love the Little Wombat Dog's style. She is cheerful. Not explosive, but bright eyed and bushy of non-tail. She bounces between exercises, but not during them. She doesn't worry about things. Really, not anything. OK, anything except cameras. Although I think we are suffering from some loss of brain during the directed jumping because she's so excited that we're almost done and time for the COOKIES. But for all our multiple NQs, I enjoy showing her because she's so darned CUTE.Lynn Ungarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12674803547032895797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4901844543243405919.post-72624001462989558532013-04-27T18:54:57.051-07:002013-04-27T18:54:57.051-07:00So did Coach inspire the bug eyed lunatic remark? ...So did Coach inspire the bug eyed lunatic remark? Seems to fit him. He really wants to do what's right. He wants it so bad his head explodes. He is a lunatic for sure. I am certain that I could make him stop being that excited. I am also certain that if I stop it, I stop all the good things at the same time. I am working patiently (usually) to help learn control and help him understand what he is expected to do. Once he feels like he is "right" he settles down pretty nicely. I have seen so few dogs that are all things good. Too much, too little, bad timing,... I guess if they were mostly perfect we wouldn't need to train them!Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16843229866930009738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4901844543243405919.post-44388555042121834392013-04-24T17:08:03.427-07:002013-04-24T17:08:03.427-07:00My papillon is a live-wire, bug-eyed lunatic, who ...My papillon is a live-wire, bug-eyed lunatic, who simply adores being in the ring and working so much he has a hard time containing himself. Though he clearly works very hard to be good. I love working him, in the ring or in practice. He has made even the sternest judge crack a smile, seeing such joy and enthusiasm in such a small (and furry) bundle.Jenniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04355423546969862399noreply@blogger.com
